| This Occhetti is a newcomer to Vintages portfolio and joins 21 prior Prunotto releases to date. This elegant 100% Nebbiolo has a medium plus red colour and an engaging, very faintly spicy, raspberry-tinged, Damson plum nose with some rose-violet-tinged floral notes. Dry, medium-to-medium-full bodied, well textured, intense, very bright, solid, ripe, plum-crancherry flavours with a lingering, faintly earthy, gentle oak-sandalwood notes on the lingering finish. Still quite youthful, it would pair well with roasted meats and game. Aged for 16 months in oak, It has 14% alcohol and under 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number L5099 on the back label. |

| TASTING NOTE: This wine has been produced on the Prunotto estate since the 1970s. It spent seven days macerating on the grape skins before vinification, after which it was aged for 16 months in oak before bottling. Graceful and elegant with impeccable structure, it evokes heady violets and rose petals followed by earthy red fruit. |
