NERO DI TROIA 2024 IGT Puglia
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer DUCA DI SARAGNANO
Deep intense red colour. The nose seems slightly sweetish featuring a blend of vanilla ice cream and plum jam. Slightly off-dry, medium bodied, ripe, plummy-black cherry flavours with a bright, somewhat tangy, crancherry finish. This ready-to-drink, entry-level, crowd-pleaser has 13.5% alcohol and 9 g/L residual sugar with lot number L2504299 on the back label. Made from the Puglian grape variety Nero di Troia (a.k.a. Uva di Troia). This is yet another excessively high-scoring (in my opinion) Luca Maroni selection which I am told is apparently paid-for. CSPC 23034
