Bright fairly lightish red colour. Intense, fairly spicy, somewhat earthy, herb-tinged, mature plum nose. Dry, medium bodied, quite well structured, initially somewhat dusty, maturing, plum flavours with a lingering, gently cedary, mineral-tinged finish. The bottle tasted seems somewhat past its prime. It was fermented with 55% whole clusters and has 13% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number March 1 2022 on the lower part of the glass bottle. NEW in Vintages. CSPC 45883

TASTING NOTE: Sitting between the two water sources of Lake Ontario and Four Mile Creek, planted in 1983 on loamy clay soils. Bright ruby colour and aromas of red berries with a hint of dried herbs. Fresh acidity and surprisingly firm tannins. Nice now, but will be better with some more bottle age. Drinking window: 2022-2026.
