| ASSYRTIKO 2023 PGI Achaia |
| Vintage Assessments Tasting Note |
Producer |
MEGA SPILEO |
Bright pale straw colour, it has an attractive, very slightly spicy, floral, ripe, lemon-apple-melon nose with some mineral notes. Dry, medium bodied, fairly intense, bright, stiil slightly tight, lemon-apple-melon flavours with a lingering, very bright, minerally, faintly savoury finish. Aged for three months on its lees in a combination of steel tanks and barrels, this well-priced 100% Assyrtiko has 12% alcohol and under 2 g/L residual sugar wIVersatile and ready-to-drink, it would be great with tempura, sushi and seafood - especially oysters.

| TASTING NOTE: Eminently popular in its native Greece, Assyrtiko is adored for its ability to pair well with lounging on the beach. It also matches with all sorts of Greek or maritime cuisine thanks to its mineral-driven, briny character. |
