Deep purple red colour. Bright, very slightly spicy, ripe, Damson plum nose with some sandalwood notes. Dry, medium-plus bodied, nicely structured, slightly spicy, ripe, plummy-cracherry flavours with a lingering, lifted, gently cedary, vanilla-sandalwood-tinged finish. This very well-priced, crowd-pleasing, ready-to-drink, tasty blend of Alicante Bouschet, Aragonez, Trincadeira,Touriga Nacional, Petit Verdot and Merlot has 14% alcohol and 3 g/L residual sugar. It was aged for 6 months in second and third year French and American small oak barrels. CSPC 43854
