VELLODORO PECORINO 2024 IGT Terre d'Abruzzo
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer UMANI RONCHI
Bright medium straw colour. Very slightly spicy, slightly citrusy, minerally nose with some traditional hazelnut notes. Dry, medium bodied, slightly nutty, fairly intense, ripe, apple-lemon-melon flavours with a lingering, crisp, unoaked finish. Aged on lees for 4 months, this historic recently restored indigenous Abruzzo white is best with seafood. It has 12.5% alcohol and seems to be well under the LCBO’s posted 5 g/L residual sugar. The lot number L5041A appears on the back label. CSPC 289553
