| This tasty well-priced Vintages Essential is now called Growers Blend and the just released 2023 has a $2 LTO until June 22. Bright medium straw colour with an attractive, toasty, slightly spicy, ripe, lemon-apple meringue nose. Dry, medium bodied, nicely textured, ripe, lemon-apple-apricot flavours with a lingering, rather crisp, fairly toasty, lingering, bright, minerally finish. Versatile and ready-to-drink, it would be perfect with bbq chicken. Aged for 12 months in French oak, it has 13% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number 20230802 on the lower part of the glass bottle. Screwcap closure. |
