This recently-updated 2020 Vintages Essential has a deep intense purple-red colour. Attractive, slightly spicy, bright, ripe plum, raspberry, black-cherry-cassis nose with lots of toasty-cedary notes. Dry, medium to medium-full bodied, nicely structured, ripe, fruit-driven, cassis-black-cherry flavours with a lingering, cedary, well balanced, mouhfilling, bright finish. Delicious and crowd-pleasing, normally $19.95 this South Australia Shiraz is ready to enjoy in a large wine glass.

Elegant, Bright, Well Textured *** (92 points)
This 2023 has a medium-deep red colour with a very gently spicy, gently complex, ripe, plum-raspberry-black-cherry nose with some minerally, gently toasty notes . Dry, medium-plus bodied, very well textured, fairly intense, ripe, raspberry-plum-red-cherry fruit with hints of cassis on the lingering, gently cedary, faintly savoury, well balanced finish. Enjoyable now but still a tad youthful, this refined effort spent 12 months in French oak (20% new) and has 12.5% alcohol, 2 g/L residual sugar and 6.4 g/L total acidity.

Medium golden yellow colour. Very attractive, intense, sweet, honeyed, spicy, caramel nose with some bright apricot jam and candied orange peel notes. Sweet but beautifully balanced, medium-full bodied, velvety, spicy, delicious, candied tangerine peel flavours with outstanding acidity followed up be a lingering, bright, refreshing, Seville orange marmalade finish. This crowd-pleasing 100% Furmint has 10% alcohol and 147 g/L residual sugar.
