| This excellent 2024 Niagara River old-vines estate Chardonnay has a light yellow colour. The attractive nose shows ripe, lemon-apple meringue along with some pear-tinged, minerally, toasty notes. Dry, medium-plus bodied, ripe, wintermelon-pear fruit with some lemon-apple notes followed up by a harmonious, lingering, bright, nicely textured, gently toasty finish. Versatile and ready-to-drink, this very tasty 2024 was aged in oak for 9 months in new French oak. It has 13% alcohol and 2.1 g/L residual sugar. |

| TASTING NOTE: This wine comes from estate Chardonnay that was planted in 1981; Reif's oldest block. Fermented in stainless steel and aged for nine months in new Fren ch oak, it has an elegant, rich, juicy character, with apple, stone fruit, hazelnut and vanilla aromas and flavours. Try it with buttery shellfish or grilled pork. |
