DOMAINE LE CLOS JORDANNE |
| This 2023 is one of the best to date in terms of freshness and balance. Bright medium straw colour with an attractive, faintly spicy, ripe, lemon-apple meringue nose with some mineral-tinged, gently toasty notes. Dry, medium-plus bodied, very nicely textured, slightly spicy, bright, ripe, pear-tinged, lemon-apple meringue flavours with a lingering, harmonious, elegantly toasty, key lime pie tinged finish. Showing very nicely and would go well with poultry, white meats and some seafood dishes - especially lobster. Screwcap closure. Fermented and aged in French oak (about 20% new) for approximately 20 months, it has 13% alcohol, 1.5 g/L residual sugar and 6 g/L total acidity with lot number L251125 on the lower part of the glass bottle. Screwcap closure. |
