NEW in Vintages. Medium-light yellow colour, this 100% Sauvignon Blanc has a mineral-driven, expansive, ripe, yellow grapefruit nose with some slightly leesy notes. Dry, medium bodied, fairly intense, still somewhat tight, bright, slightly lemony, tangy, minerally flavours with a lingering, crisp finish. Perfect for oysters, it has 12.5% alcohol and 1.3 g/L residual sugar with lot number L25217 on the back label. CSPC 50130

TASTING NOTE: Chatelain has been family-owned since the 17th century. Vincent Chatelain, the current owner, represents the 11th generation to run the estate. This wine is 100% Sauvignon Blanc, with 80% of the grapes sourced from Kimmeridgian and Portlandian limestone vineyards and 20% from flinty clay. Bright, flinty and floral with attractive menthol notes, it will show best through 2029. Pair with fish, shellfish or creamy cheeses. Price $ 30.95
