| Extremely deep intense purple colour. Youthful, floral-tinged, intense, ripe, Damson plum, black currant nose with some refined gently cedar notes. Dry, medium-full bodied, intense, rich, ripe, plum-cassis-dark-cherry flavours with a lingering, very well textured, cedar-sandalwood-tinged finish with ripe tannins and hints of forest floor. Very appealing now but more time will permit it to evolve and develop more complexity - perhaps 3-5 more years. A super Tuscan blend of 35% Merlot, 26% Cabernet Sauvignon, 24% Petit Verdot and 15% Syrah. It has 14.5% alcohol and 2.7 g/L residual sugar with lot number L24269 on the capsule. |
