PREMIUM RÉSERVE BRUT CHAMPAGNE AOC, France
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer CHARLES MIGNON
This ninth Vintages release since 2015 is to my taste the best to date scoring 91.5-points. A tasty ready-to-drink blend of 55% Meunier, 25% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Noir that has 15% added from a reserve started in 2016. It has tiny bubbles and a mature medium yellow colour with an attractive, slightly spicy, gently toasty, ripe lemon-apple meringue nose with some minerally hints of ripe Mirabelle plum. Dry, medium bodied, harmonious, ripe, lemon-wintermelon flavours with a lingering, minerally, effervescent finish. A versatile, crowd-pleaser that has 12.5% alcohol and 9 g/L residual sugar with lot number IG41202T008 on the lower part of the glass bottle. CSPC 421032
