| This batch of 118 cases was bottled on May 1, 2025 (lot number L2025-05-01 on the lower part of the glass bottle). Bright medium-light straw colour. Intense, complex, fairly toasty, ripe, lemon-apple meringue with lots of attractive schisty-mineral notes. Dry, medium to medium-full bodied, well-textured, intense, complex, minerally, expansive and yet still pointed, ripe lemon curd flavours with a lingering, surprisingly rich, harmonious finish. A classic Burgundian style, it is showing well now and has improved immensely from the initial bottling shock of 15-months-ago. It has 13% alcohol and under 2 g/L residual sugar. |
