| This tasty, ready-to-drink, Vintages Essential has a deep purple colour. The nose is slightly spicy, bright and quite intense with lots of ripe, plummy-crancherry fruit with some cedary notes. Dry, medium plus bodied with slightly spicy, ripe, plum-crancherry flavours followed up by a lingering, gently earthy, cedary, bright finish. This crowd-pleasing blend of approximately 80% Mourvèdre, 10% Syrah and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon spent 12 months in new French and American oak before being bottled. It has 14.5% alcohol and under 4 g/L residual sugar with lot number 26075 on the back label. |
