BOURGOGNE HAUTES CÔTES DE BEAUNE 2022 AOC
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer DOMAINE BOURGOGNE DEVAUX
This NEW in Vintages this Hautes-Cotes de Beaune as a medium plus garnet red colour. The rather complex nose shows some barrel-inspired sandalwood notes which is followed up by ripe Damson plums along with a touch of minerality. Dry, medium plus bodied, still quite youthful, nicely textured, bright, ripe, plum-raspberry-cransherry flavours that show good length with hints of violet and iron on the finish. At this point I would be tempted to decant to allow the wine open up and preferably serve in a large red Burgundy-inspired glass. It pairs well with confit of duck, lamb, grilled steak and has 13% alcohol and under 1 g/L residual sugar.

TASTING NOTE: (Translated from the French) Beautiful, bright red colour with a youthful appearance. Ripe, fruity nose with herbaceous scents.
