ASSYRTIKO 2025 PGI Macedonia
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer BOUTARI
This 100% Assyrtiko has a light straw colour and an intense, gently complex nose with some leesy-mineral notes layered on top of ripe lemon-apple-melon fruit. Dry, medium bodied, slightly spicy, bright, ripe, well-textured, melon-lemon-apple flavours with some slightly minerally notes on the refreshing, lingering finish. Fermented in stainless steel and aged on stirred lees until just prior to bottling which is reflected in the elegant touch of toast. It pairs perfectly with seafood and especially oysters and has 13.2% alcohol, 1.7 g/L residual sugar and 4.6 g/L total acidity with lot number MA01775625 on the back label. Opens nicely with breathing. Only 65 cases available. CSPC 44246
