Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer ARNALDO-CAPRAI
Deep purple red colour. Fairly intense, gently spicy, bright, plum-crancherry nose with some slightly savoury, sandalwood notes. Dry, medium plus bodied, quite nicely textured, very slightly earthy, dark plum and blackberry flavours with a faintly bricky finish. Works well with tomato-based dishes and various cuts of beef. It has 14.5% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar. Quite ready-to-drink, this is a blend of 70% Sangiovese, 15% Sagrantino and 15% Merlot CSPC 303065
