RISERVA PATRIMONIO 2022 AOP
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer CLOS SAN QUILICO
NEW IN VINTAGES - only 25 cases available. This organic blend of 90% Nielluccio (a relative of Sangiovese) and 10% Grenache has a medium garnet red colour. The nose shows lots of sandalwood notes with ripe dark plum fruit and just a hint of earth. It is very dry and medium bodied with bright, plum-crancherry flavours with a slightly tart, lingering, minerally finish. It seems quite youthful and may need it to open up. It has 14% alcohol and under 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number L2414 on the back label. CSPC 49862

TASTING NOTE: The Patrimonio Rouge is 90% Nielluccio and 10% Grenache. Nielluccio is closely related to Sangiovese and may in fact be a clone produced by the unique influence of Corsica's terroir. This intense, complex, supple, silky wine has a mix of ripe red and dark fruit with some earth and leather. Perfect for barbecue fare, it will evolve into the early 2030s. Price $ 38.95
