SINGLE VINEYARD CABERNET FRANC 2022 VQA Lincoln Lakeshore, Niagara Peninsula
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer REDSTONE
Bright fairly deep purple-red colour. Slightly spicy, ripe, red-cherry-raspberry nose with some faintly savoury, brioche notes. Very dry, medium bodied, very bright, very slightly peppery, plum-rcrancherry-cassis flavours with a lingering, fairly high acid, youthful finish. Great with a T-bone steak, the best is yet to come. This 100% Cabernet Franc was aged in mostly neutral French oak. It has 12.5% alcohol, under 2 g/L residual sugar and spent 18 months in new and neutral French oak. CSPC 46463
