CAVE SPRING |
| Bright light yellow colour. Intense, faintly spicy, bright, gently floral, fresh, ripe, apple-lemon-melon nose with some minerally notes. Dry, medium bodied, slightly spicy, faintly honeyed, fresh, lemon-apple-pear flavours with a crisp, unoaked, mineral-tinged finish. This tasty, versatile, still-youthful Vintages Essential hits the spot. It has 12.5% alcohol, 5 g/L residual sugar and 6 g/L total acidity and comes with a cork closure. Fermented 50% in a large oak cask and the balance in small neutral oak barrels. All lots fermented using indigenous yeasts and aged for 12 months sur lie. The bottling lot number L12022025 appears on the lower part of the glass |

| TASTING NOTE: Crafted with 100% Riesling from a single estate vineyard, this wine was fermented in oak and spent 12 months on the lees in barrel. The result is a deeply complex wine with suggestions of lemon drop, lime, nutmeg, honeycomb and dulce de leche. Savour with curried prawns, pork tenderloin, or onion tarts. |
