| Very deep intense purple colour. Intense, spicy, red licorice nose with some complex, very faintly leafy, somewhat cedary, ripe plum-raspberry notes. Dry, medium-full bodied, harmonious, spicy, intense, maturing, ripe plum flavours with a harmonious, lingering, licorice-tinged, gently cedary finish. Perhfect with steak or roast beef. This new blend of 37% Cabernet Sauvignon, 32% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Franc and 1% Petit Verdot and each component was matured separately in 225L French oak barriques for 20 months (30% of the barriques being new oak). It has 14.5% alcohol and 2.3 g/L residual sugar with lot number L25308 on the back label. |
