| This REPEAT has a fairly deep garnet-purple colour with a maturing edge. Slightly spicy, maturing, black cherry and Damson plum fruit on the nose with some very faintly earthy, sandalwood notes. Dry, medium-plus bodied, harmonious, slightly spicy, gently complex, gently cedary, fairly Iintense, ripe, plum-crancherry flavours with a lingering, nicely textured finish. It fermented and aged for 16 months in a mix of French oak and has 14.5% alcohol, 2 g/L residual sugar and 5.3 g/L total acidity. Some of my wine-loving friends say it is somewhat reminiscent of a fine Barolo, other say Burgundy. |

| TASTING NOTE: This wine is crafted from 100% Xinomavro harvested by hand from a single vineyard in the hills of Naoussa in northern Greece. It spent 16-18 months maturing in oak barrels. Poised and vibrant, it evokes sour cherry, wild herbs, cocoa and vanilla, all wrapped in ripe, velvety yet structured tannins. It will impress through 2030 and beyond. |
