| Here is the review from my colleague DL: This chardonnay looms large, with fairly deep lemon-gold colour. The complex nose is intense with baked pineapple, melted butter, lemon peel, honey, hazelnut and toast. It is medium-full bodied, sturdy and powerful without propping up via sweetness. It is quite mineral on the finish. With only 40% malolactic fermentation, 80% spent 8 months in 60% new French oak. It has 13.5% alcohol, 1.8 g/L residual sugar aand 6.6 g/L total acidity. |

| TASTING NOTE: This Chardonnay is made in a leaner style, and it works well. Quite stony and attenuated on the nose, leading to a fresh, linear palate with more of the wet stone character. Score - 90 (Jamie Goode, winealign.com) |
