GRAFITE RED DOURO 2021 DOP
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer CHURCHILL'S ESTATES
NEW in Vintages. Deep intense purple colour. Attractive, fairly rich, ripe, plum-cassis nose with faintly floral cedar-sandalwood notes. Dry, medium-plus bodied, well structured, youthful but accessible, slightly spicy, intense, bright, ripe, plum-cassis-crancherry flavours with some faintly savoury, complex, still firm, gently complex, earthy notes on the lingering finish. Great with a T-bone steak this blend of 40% Touriga Nacional, 30% Tinta Roriz and 30% Touriga Francesa has 13.5% alcohol and 2.4 g/L residual sugar with lot number L251202 on the lower part of the glass bottle. About 30% of this wine is aged for 12 months in new and used French oak, the remaining part in stainless steel vats to maintain its fruity character and then lightly filtered just prior to bottling.
