MARCENASCO BAROLO 2021 DOCG
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer RENATO RATTI
This 17th VINTAGES release of Renato Ratti’s single vineyard Marcenasco focuses on the elegant side of the equation. It has a faint amber-edged medium red colour and an intense, very faintly spicy, gently complex, rose-petal-tinged, ripe, plum-raspberry nose with some minerally, red licorice and sandalwood notes. Dry, medium plus bodied, surprisingly intense, harmonious, nicely structured and slightly spicy with ripe Damson plums and licorice-tinged, red cherry flavours along with a lingering, cedar-sandalwood finish. This seamless 100% Nebbiolo has 14% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar. CSPC 713479
