This fifth repeat has a pale straw colour. Bright, very slightly spicy, fragrant, warm rice nose with some faintly earthy notes. Dry, medium to medium-light bodied, faintly honeyed, slightly spicy, floral, warm rice flavours with a lingering, fairly crisp, refined finish. It has 15% alcohol and 18 g/L residual sugar with a new lot number 2025.10 on the back label on this new shipment (note that 2024.10 was on previous shipment). Screwcap closure. CSPC 572644

TASTING NOTE: ... Aromas are quite intense yet refined with rice custard, raisin, caraway and dried flowers. It is medium weight, off dry, quite rich yet elegant with a cushioned mouthfeel, some heat (15%) and pleasant bitterness. The length is excellent. Tasted February 2025.
