| LE GRAND CLOS CHARDONNAY 2022 VQA Twenty Mile Bench, Niagara Escarpment |

LE CLOS JORDANNE |
| This new 2022 has a light yellow colour and a very intense, somewhat leesy, mineral-driven nose with lots of complex, toasty, ripe lemon meringue notes. Dry, medium-full bodied, very nicely textured, slightly spicy, ripe, intense, lemon meringue flavours with a lingering, harmonious, fairly toasty, bright, mineral-tinged finish. Showing very nicely and seems quite ready-to-drink. Fermented and aged in French oak (about 20% new) for approximately 20 months, it has 13% alcohol, 1.2 g/L residual sugar and 5.5 g/L total acidity (which actually seems higher due to minimal filtration) along with lot number L240618 on the lower part of the glass bottle. This very tasty, ready-to-drink, classy 2022 will go well with poultry, white meats and some seafood dishes - especially lobster. Screwcap closure. |
