| This newly-labelled continuously available Vintages Essential has an extremely pale straw colour with a fairly intense, gently spicy, slightly floral, fresh, honeyed, ripe apple-melon-lemon nose with some mineral notes. Off-dry and medium to medium-light bodied, the bright, stilll-youthful, ripe, apple-melon-lemon flavours are followed up with a crisp, mineral-tinged, well-textured finish. Well balanced and quite ready-to-drink, it has 10.5% alcohol, 20 g/L residual sugar and a hefty refreshing 8.6 g/L total acidity with lot number L20250306 on the lower part of the glass bottle. Screwcap closure. A very attractive well-priced refresher, especially with flavourful, hot, spicy Chinese and Indian dishes. |
