Light ambering gold colour. Fairly intense, attractive, sweet, ripe fig, date, caramel-tinged, buttered walnut toast nose. Slightly off-dry, fairly intense, expansive, harmonious, toffee-caramel-driven flavours with lightly lemon-tinged notes. on the lingering finish. This 100% Palomino Fino was aged for 8 years in American oak casks and might best be served slightly chilled. Keep cold once opened. This batch with lot number L252961 has 18% alcohol, 4 g/L residual sugar and 5 g/L total acidity. Terrific with charcuterie and cheese, it last appeared in Vintages on June 26, 2010 at only $14.85 and was a Recommended Best Buy. CSPC 954776
