| Bright light yellow colour and an intense, gently toasty, elegant, ripe, lemon-apple-melon meringue nose with some minerally, honeysuckle-pear notes. Dry, medium plus bodied, nicely textured, bright, ripe, lemon-apple meringue flavours with a lingering, toasty, fairly complex, lifted, faintly tropical finish. Versatile and ready-to-drink - a versatile crowd-pleaser. This 100% Chardonnay was fermented and aged in 228 L French barrels for about 22 months and has 13.6% alcohol and 2.3 g/L residual sugar. Screwcap closure. |
