Bright pale straw colour. Attractive, gently complex, ripe, lemon-apple meringue nose with some toasty, mineral notes. Dry, medium-plus bodied, well structured, well textured, ripe, lemon-apple meringue flavours with a lingering, gently toasty, harmonious, gently leesy finish. This award-winning white was fermented and aged for 9 months in French oak barriques (20% new, 20% 2nd fill, and 60% in older neutral wood). Partial malolactic fermentation was allowed in some of the barrels while others were inhibited to preserve freshness. It has 12.7% alcohol, 2.7 g/L residual sugar and a healthy 7 g/L total acidity, Screwcap closure. Bottled on August 28, 2024 and NEW in Vintages. Only 120 cases made. CSPC 49231
