GRASEVINA 2024 Danube-Kutjevo Vineyard, Slavonia
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer KUTJEVO
Grasevina is a staple white grape in Croatia, making almost tropical, quite aromatic whites. The pours pale yellow-gold. The nose has almost mango-like fruit with honey, pastry notes and florals. It is medium weight, a touch oily in texture, just off dry but quite rich. Acid is a bit low, but some pleasant orange peel bitterness on the finish provides ballast. The length is excellent. Chill well. Just reviewed by fellow wine writer David Lawrason. It has 13.3% alcohol and 4 g/L residual sugar. CSPC 519074
