LES HAUTS DE BARVILLE CHÂTEAUNEUF-DU-PAPE 2022 AOC
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer BROTTE
This is a very typical, quite complex, classic, Grenache-based Chateauneuf with its complex, heady aromas of strawberry-rhubarb pie, dried herbs, peppery spices and spearmint. Love the nose. It is medium-full bodied, broad and loosely built, with 14.5% abv not throwing too much heat. Tannins are drying and crusty. The length is excellent. Drink by 2030. Just reviewed by fellow wine writer David Lawrason. This tasty blend of 60% Grenache, 15% Mourvèdre, 20% Syrah and 5% Cinsault has 15% alcohol and 3 g/L residual sugar. CSPC 35974
