EXPRESSION SERIES RIESLING 2024 VQA Niagara Peninsula
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer 13TH STREET
Pale straw colour. This aromatically behaves like a late harvest Riesling with very ripe peach-mango and honeyed aroma, plus a bit of struck match/flint and chive. It is light to medium bodied (10.5%) with a hint of sweetness, but high acid and a touch of effervescence are key to the feel of this wine. Quite brisk, tart, lemony and bitter on the finish. Idiosyncratic. Very good to excellent length. Just reviewed by fellow wine writer David Lawrason. This Riesling has 10.5% alcohol and 3.2 g/L residual sugar with a screwcap closure. CSPC 19345
