| Vintage Assessments Tasting Note |
Producer |
ARDAL |
| This blend of 80% Tempranillo and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon has an extremely deep intense purple colour. Intense, gently cedary, slightly spicy, very bright, ripe, plum-cherry-pomegranate nose. Dry medium-full bodied, intense, well textured, faintly spicy, ripe Damson plums along with firm crancherry, dark cacao and some slightly savoury notes on the lingering sttill somewhat firm finish. It has 15% alcohol and under 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number L-21032 on the back label. |

| TASTING NOTE: A lovely nose of red, black and purple fruits are accented by an earthy charm. On the palate it's pure velvet, with an almost astonishing purity of fruit. Despite the rather heavy stature of the wine - the tannins are very much present - I can't help but appreciate how easy this is to drink. Pair with anything from the BBQ or a juicy steak!
