CHARDONNAY 2024 IGT Venezia Giulia
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer JERMANN
This excellent Friulian Chardonnay has a bright light straw colour. Attractive, intense, ripe, pear-tinged, lemon-apple meringue nose with some faintly leesy, gentle toasty notes. Dry, medium bodied, bright, fairly complex, mineral-tinged, ripe, lemon-apple meringue flavours with a lingering, well structured, minerally, gently toasty (from 6+ months of lees aging), bright finish. Classy and quite ready-to-drink, it has 13% alcohol and under 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number L91/25 on the lower part of the glass bottle. Still a tad youthful, it will improve with another year of aging. Screwcap closure. CSPC 12811
