TERRACED VINEYARD SYRAH 2021 VQA Niagara Escarpment, vegan
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer KACABA
Medium-deep red colour. Attractive, ripe, faintly spicy, fresh, plummy nose with some very gently cedary notes. Dry, medium-plus bodied, somewhat cedary, bright, ripe, plum-crancherry flavours with a lingering, fairly high acid, youthful finish. Nicely structured but needs time to mellow. The whole berry Syrah was cold-soaked with 9.3% Viognier and then open top fermented and aged for 14 months in French and American barrels. It has 13% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar.
