SÉLECTION OFFERUS SAINT-JOSEPH 2023 AOC
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer J. L. CHAVE
Deep purple-red colour. Attractive, intense, very slightly spicy, ripe, Damson plum with some black currant and gently cedary, minerally notes. Dry, medium-plus bodied, quite nicely structured, well balanced, ripe, plum-cherry-cassis flavours with a lingering, somewhat cedary, very gently complex finish. It has 13.5% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number L1231 on the back label and likely needs 2-3 years to open and show its best. Not up to the 2018 with 14% alcohol and rated 93-points released on January 22, 2022. CSPC 359109
