| GRANDE CUVÉE AGIORGITIKO 2022 PDO Neméa |
| Vintage Assessments Tasting Note |
Producer |
DOMAINE SKOURAS |
| NEW in Vintages. This very bright deep purple coloured 100% Agiorgitiko has an attractive, intense, lively, fresh, ripe, Damson plum, raspberry-driven nose with some gentle sandalwood notes. Very dry, medium-plus bodied, well textured, youthful, intense, extremely bright, youthful, fresh, Damson plum and raspberry-crancherry flavours with lots of minerally notes on the lingering, high acid, very slightly toasty, faintly savoury finish. Aged in new French barriques for 12 months, 4 of which in the presence of light lees. Definitely needs time to evolve, it has 14.5% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar. |

| TASTING NOTE: Made from 100% Agiorgitiko grown at high altitudes in Neméa, this wine spent a year in new French barriques, four months of which was on the lees. It's dark and intense, with an interplay of smoky, spicy and mineral tones. [Mundus Vini did not include a tasting note.] Score - Gold (Mundus Vini, 2025) |
