| NEW in Vintages. This 2022 is quite amazing - one of the best, most enjoyable Gruner Veltliners that I have tasted in quite some time. It has a bright light yellow colour. The nose is formidable - very intense, faintly tropical, very minerally and extremely complex with Burgundian-inspired, lemon-apple meringue notes along with elegant gently cedary notes. Dry, medium-full bodied, wonderfully textured, ripe, toasty, lemon-apple meringue flavours with a gently cedary, lingering, bright, minerally finish. It has 13.5% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number 1-24141 on the lower part of the glass bottle. Absolutely delicious to drink now. |
