| Bright light straw colour with streams of tiny bubbles. Fairly intense, fresh, slightly spicy, attractive, floral, ripe, apple-melon-pear-lemon fruit on the nose. Fairly dry, medium to medium-light bodied, well balanced, slightly spicy, fresh, harmonious, ripe, melon-pear-apple-lemon fruit flavours with a fairly crisp, mineral-tinged, effervescent finish. This 2022 vintage has over 15 months on lees aging. A tasty, crowd-pleasing, ready-to-drink, organic Cava made from 50% Macabeo, 35% Parellada and 15% Xarel.lo with 11.5% alcohol, 8 g/L residual sugar and 5.7 g/L total acidity. Note that each batch can be somewhat different - the back label reads Vintage 2022 and 040625 LL25155231E. |
