| Medium-deep red colour. Slightly spicy, sandalwood-tinged, gently complex, bright, slightly lightish, crancherry-plum fruit on the nose with some dried strawberry notes. Dry, medium bodied, slightly spicy, pleasant, Damson plum and crancherry flavours with a bright, rather ready-to-drink, lingering finish. This blend of 55% Corvina, 25% Corvinone and 20% Rondinella spent 18 months in large neutral oak and has 14.5% and 2.4 g/L residual sugar with lot number 08/16/2025 on the back label. |

| TASTING NOTE: This is a solid estate, reliable and at times exciting. Wines of a traditional style, always striking an admirable pose of eminent drinkability. Camphor, strawberry, a hint of sassafras and just-detectible older wood. Avoids the mocha and excessive heaviness of so many Ripassos, reminding me of a riper pinot rather than a quasi Amarone.
