NEW in Vintages. Deep violet-red colour. Attractive, bright, intense, ripe, Damson plum fruit with some slightly spicy blackberry notes plus a faint hint of pepper. Dry, medium-plus bodied, ripe plum and crancherry fruit flavours with a lingering, nicely textured, faintly savoury, sandalwood-tinged finish. This very well-priced unoaked Dao is a hand-harvested blend of 40% Touriga Nacional, 30% Alfrocheiro and 30% Tinta-Roriz.and has 13% alcohol and 5 g/L residual sugar with with lot number L79 on the back label. TASTING NOTE: This elegant red blend comprises Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz (Tempranillo) and Alfrocheiro sourced from vines grown in granite soils. It was aged in stainless steel to preserve the fresh character of the fruit. Rich and perfumed, it evokes ripe mulberry, blackberry, and evergreen forest. Pair it with grilled sausages, chicken or duck. Price $ 16.95
