Medium-deep violet-tinged red colour The nose is gently complex, fairly intense and spicy with mostly Damson plums with some faintly herbal crancherry notes. Dry, medium to medium-full bodied, quite well structured, slightly spicy, faintly herbal, still somewhat tight, bright, crancherry flavours with a lingering, fairly high acid, faintly cedary finish. This 2018 has 88% Cabernet Franc and 12% Merlot with a lower 13% alcohol (vs. 13.5% for the 2016) and 2 g/L residual sugar. TASTING NOTE: Domaine Queylus Tradition 2021 is a vegan-friendly Cabernet Franc, rich and fresh with ripe black cherry, red berry, dried herbs, sweet dried tobacco, loamy, smoky flavours finishing on a flinty mineral note with bright acidity and fine-grained, medium tannins.
