TRIENNES ROSÉ 2024 IGP Méditerranée |
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note |
Producer |
TRIENNES |
This well-made 2024 Provence Rose is a fresh, blend of Cinsaul, Grenache, Syrah and Merlot and is perfect for Mother’s Day. It has a bright extremely pale salmon-pink colour. The nose is very pretty with lots of floral, mineral-tinged, ripe, strawberry-plum fruit. Dry, medium bodied and bright with elegant, fresh, ripe, crancherry flavours followed up with a lingering, crisp, well balanced, minerally finish. Perfectly ready to drink, it has 12.5% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with a screwcap closure. Perfect for brunch, it goes well with everything and will easily keep for another year. |

TASTING NOTE: Domaine de Triennes was founded in 1989 by Burgundians Jacques Seysses (Domaine Dujac) and Aubert de Villaine (DRC) and Parisian Michel Macaux. This rosé is lithe, floral and complex, with generous sunny apricot, citrus, strawberry, raspberry, melon, and garrigue undertones. Sip, serve for brunch with a vegan niçoise salad, or enjoy at dinner with grilled salmon or chicken. |
