BIO DRY RED 2022 PDO Mukuzani |
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note |
Producer |
ALEXANDROV MUKUZANI |
Extremely deep intense purple colour. Attractive, quite intense, complex, slightly spicy, ripe, raspberry-cassis-plum nose with some cedary, dark chocolate notes. Dry, medium-full bodied, well structured, intense, ripe, black-cherry-cassis-plum flavours followed by a long, lingering, mouthfillling, bright finish. Great with roasted meats, especially a rib steak, this 100% Saperavi has 13.5% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number 31.10.24 on the back label. NEW in Vintages. |

TASTING NOTE: Georgian Wine House was founded in 1996 and is focused on crafting traditional Georgian wines using minimal intervention. The Saperavi for this wine comes from select organic sites in eastern Georgia's Kakheti region. This wine has plentiful cherry, black plum, dark chocolate, vanilla and spice notes and will be a good option for serving with dried fruits, roasted nuts, chocolate desserts, or roasted meats. |
