Vintage Assessments Tasting Note |
Producer |
WESTCOTT |
Medium-light red colour. Bright, fragrant, ripe, fresh, raspberry-black-cherry-plum fruit on the nose with some faintly floral, minerally, cedar notes. Dry, medium+ bodied, very bright, still youthful, ripe, raspberry-plum fruit with a lingering, lifted, faintly spicy, gently cedary, nicely textured finish. Try with salmon, roast turkey and ham. This quite ready-to-enjoy tasty 2021 was fermented in 100% French oak (no new) for 22 months. It has 12.5% alcohol and 1 g/L residual sugar. The lot number L0906231 is on the lower part of the glass bottle. |
