BERONIA |
| NEW in Vintages. This very tasty, ripe, expressive blend of 97% Tempranillo, 2% Graciano and 1% Mazuelo spent 18 months in special barrels made of French and American oak. It has a very deep intense purple-red colour. The nose shows lots of attractive, slightly spicy, ripe, black cherry and cassis fruit with some warm buttered toasty notes. Dry, medium to medium-full bodied, well structured, intense, ripe, very bright, Danson plum, cassis, black cherry flavours with a lingering, fleshy, complex, lingering, cedary finish. This hefty red is best served with steaks and ribs in large wine glasses. It has 14% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number L17124 on the lower part of the glass bottle. |

| TASTING NOTE: 97% Tempranillo, 2% Graciano, 1% Mazuelo. Immaculately defined cherry, blackberry and mulberry fruit underpinned by a savoury oak complexity. Very polished and pure with a fine backbone of acidity and super raspberry finish. Score - 95 (Decanter World Wine Awards, 2024) |
