PIAN DELLE VIGNE BRUNELLO DI MONTALCINO 2019 DOCG, sustainable
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer ANTINORI
Antinori’s sought-after 100% Sangiovese Grosso has a deep dark purple-red colour.. Very attractive, slightly spicy, gently cedary, complex, expansive, ripe, plum-cassis-crancherry nose with some sandalwood-tinged notes. Dry, medium-full to full bodied, dense, extracty and well structured with very slightly spicy, ripe, intense, plum-crancherry-cassis flavours and a lingering, chewy, cedar-tinged, minerally, bright finish. Showing very well now but you should give it another 5-10 years to evolve. Aged for two years in a variety of large oak casks (30 to 80 hl) and then another year in bottle before being released. This hefty, mouthfilling 2019 has 14.5% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number L2138 on the lower part of the glass bottle. CSPC 651141
